I have been contacted on Twitter by Wonder Mill Films. They asked me to watch their film: The Nocturnal Third.
At first I didn;t really know what to epect but let me tell you… this is a film to my tastes. The script: clever, the actors: great and the pace: just right.
This is Wonder Mill Films’ second independent feature film, a follow-up to the science fiction adventure A Genesis Found, and is a bleak industrial thriller. Produced for less than $10,000 and set against the backdrop of a developing Southern economy, The Nocturnal Third pits a struggling young artist against man, machine, and his own path. Shot on location in North Alabama, this tense neo-noir boasts a bold new voice for regional cinema.
In a few words:
Facing debt and bills, Eli Gottfried is tasked with the third shift at Stafford Stoneworks- from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The pressure of increasingly deteriorating machines, a crushing schedule, and a recurring nightmare may be too much for Eli to handle.
When a suspicious co-worker is severely injured, Eli finds his only solace in the perspective of an apparently stranded stranger.
So enjoy the trailer, visit the official website and follow the few links at the end… you can get the DVD on Amazon for only $10.00
